TFB Contour (TFBC)
TFB Contour backs are designed a customizable rehab style back support. The contoured shell design provides easy access for attaching hardware and secondary positioning accessories. Varying contour depths provides a more ergonomic fit and improved stability. A variety of modifications are available to configure this back support to your client's specific needs.
The ergonomic design utilizes a curved top and lateral contour to provide trunk support, while also allowing room for scapulae, shoulders, and arms to maintain mobility. The active and the deep solid frames are contoured for thoracic lateral support, and the extra deep contour adds a static contour extension for an even more solid thoracic lateral support.
Multiple BTC mounting hardware, direct mounting cutout or Simple Solutions™ adapter plates for PWCs options are available allowing for a wide array of application options.
Contour Depths
The Contour comes in three different contour depths:
Active 2in (5.08cm)
Deep 4in (10.16cm)
and Extra Deep 6in (15.24cm).
Lateral Support
Lateral can be set up easily thanks to the TFB slot system. Adjust height with high precision. Lateral hardware are only compatible with the TFB Contour Active. TFB Contour Deep and Extra Deep include lateral support.

Track Adjustment System
Lateral and Mounting hardware can easily be set up thanks to the TFB track system. Adjust height with high presicion that would hold effectively thanks to the powder coated back surface.
Cane Mounting Options
Several mounting options available. Traditional 2/4 point wheelchair mounting to advanced Powerwheel Chair (PWC) mounting options.
Direct Mounting Cutout Modification
The TFB Linear and Contour series can be modified to be mounted directly to a Power Wheelchair seating frame without any other hardware required. Available for Quantum® Tru-Balance 4 and 3 seating, Permobil® and Sunrise Medical®
Simple Solutions™ Adapter Plate
The Simple Solutions Adapter Interface mounts to a Power Wheelchair (PWC) with minimal seat depth loss.

Available in sizes from 10in (25.40cm) to 24in (60.96cm) in width and 10in (25.40cm) to 22in (55.88cm) in height.
Foam Options
Choose from a variety of foam layers, including our exclusive SunMate FRG viscoelastic foams, curved by foam modification, ADI® lumbar support insert, or F.I.P.S, a liquid foam technology allows for a custom mold of the client to be created on the spot.
