TFB Flex (TFBF)
TFB Flex backs are designed in a rehab style with a more ergonomic fit, providing more lateral thoracic support than traditional custom back supports. The shell design provides a clean, easy to use platform to install attaching hardware and secondary positioning accessories. The shell also incorporates a central cut-out, providing a kyphosis relief. Removable, flexible staves are inserted in the cover that can be molded to the shape of the client to help support kyphotic posture.
Each variation comes with predrilled headrest holes and slots along the outer edge for additional lateral support or mounting hardware.All cover options includes two (2) or more moldable stabilizers that make this modification even more customizable to each specific end user.

Kyphosis Relief Cutout
The TFB Flex includes a pressure relief cutout to accommodate mild kyphosis and increase overall pressure distribution along the posterior trunk
Moldable Thermoplastic Stabilizer
For a client with a mild to moderate non-reducible kyphosis, two moldable thermoplastic stabilizers can be used to create a more custom contour. These can be molded to the desired shape with a heat gun.
Headrest Mounting Holes
Back shells includes a single or multiple rows of 1 7/8in (4.76cm) pattern holes, each row spaced at about 1/4in (6.35mm) of distance from one another.
Hardware Slots
Hardware slots are located at the 45° angle edge to standardize location among series. The slots are spread 1in (2.54cm) in distance from each other and from edge.
Flex Contour Depths
The Flex comes in three different contour depths:
Modular 2in (5.08cm)
Acitve 2 1/2in (6.35cm)
and Deep 6in (15.24cm).
Lateral Support
Lateral can be set up easily thanks to the TFB slot system. Adjust height with high precision. Lateral hardware are only compatible with the TFB Flex Modular and Active. TFB Flex Deep includes lateral support.

Track Adjustment System
Lateral and Mounting hardware can easily be set up thanks to the TFB track system. Adjust height with high presicion that would hold effectively thanks to the powder coated back surface.
Cane Mounting Options
Several mounting options available. Traditional 2/4 point wheelchair mounting to advanced Powerwheel Chair (PWC) mounting options.
Simple Solutions™ Adapter Plate
The Simple Solutions Adapter Interface mounts to a Power Wheelchair (PWC) with minimal seat depth loss.
